The food service department serves three meals daily to each inmate. General Population and Protective custody inmates eat their meals in the dining room, which can seat up to 300 inmates at one time. Meals are delivered to the Segregation and Death Row housing units, as security procedures prohibit them from leaving their units. The food service department utilizes many inmate workers for sanitation and food preparation duties.
